MLB Power Rankings

1. Minnesota Twins (5-1); Winning 5 Straight , including 2 out at LA Angels and 2 at Chicago White Sox

2. Detroit Tigers (4-1); Great Pitching and Clutch Hitting have made the Tigers move to #2

3. St. Louis Cardinals (4-1); Beating the Brewers in Wisconsin is impressive

4. Philadelphia Phillies (3-1); This team is strong and so far so good

5. San Francisco Giants (4-0); Undefeated, but beating terrible teams

We went to Game 2 of the Season at the K. Here are some photos of interest...

The Royal Mascot, mysteriously looks like a Tiger or Lion or some cat animal..must be from the D originally...


Detroit Tigers General Manager Dave Dombrowski in the bottom of the 9th inning, in what appears to be hoping for a game tying home run by Miguel Cabrera...it worked. Cabrera hit one to the right field foul pole, the very bottom of the paint.


This is during the 2nd inning from the Diamond Club seats (75 buck seats), if this was Yankee Stadium those seats would be 10 to 15 times the price. The Field crew as seen below are working the home plate area due to the falling rain.

Pitcher, Ace, Cy Young Candidate, Justin Verlander working the right field outfield in batting practice. He moves and tracks the ball very well in the outfielder, tons better than the other pitchers behind him in the huddle. He is tall, and runs with Gazelle like intensity on foul balls. If I was Dombrowski, I wouldn't want my newly signed Pitcher (5 years, 80 million) taking no part of outfield drills. Just saying...
